I remember going over the Poem in the war literature section of my high school English class. My teacher at the time showed the class this [link] among other videos having to do with other famous war poems.

It's a line from a famous old poem about the First World War: "It is sweet and glorious to die for one's country". The poet was making the point that all the wretched souls perishing in the trenches of the Western Front considered their sacrifice to be neither sweet nor glorious, just an endless procession of senseless killing and dying.

Haha. Love this, but I'm having trouble identifying the uniform. Is she British or American? (honestly, it's very hard to distinguish between the two, they look so alike.)
But really nice work, love the facial expression. LOL.

British, since she's at Flanders Fields (the region where the Battles of Ypres, the Somme, and Passchendaele occured).

Ypres and Passchendale did occur there, but not the Somme. That was France.

Thanks, I can stop thinking about that now. Again I say, good work.
